The fruit resembles a mandarin: the main differences are the color of the pulp, which is decidedly more orange. It is also never flattened like a mandarin, but always nicely rounded. Like a mandarin, it is easily peeled and segmented. Its flavor, however, is more similar to an orange, with a perfect balance between sweet and sour. Furthermore, unlike a mandarin, clementine segments are almost completely seedless.
