How they are used in cooking:

To prepare lentils, it's recommended to rinse them thoroughly under running water to remove any impurities. Unlike other legumes, lentils don't require soaking; they're simply cooked directly in boiling water or broth, generally in about 20-30 minutes, until tender.

Lentils are highly versatile: they can be used in soups, broths, hot or cold salads, and as a side dish. They're also excellent for making meatballs, purées, or as an ingredient in stews and casseroles.
